Making stitchdown boots is a highly specialised process, which is why our Curve Gear Vellies were created by South African footwear artisans.
Each Curve Gear Vellie is stitched by hand using only South African full grain Bovine Leather, lined with an additional gentle leather lining for extra comfort, all stitched down to a highly durable and comfortable Thermoplastic Rubber base.

Love at first fit.
My Vellies are the best thing since sliced bread, when I put them on and after a days walking my feet are not even tired and feels as if I was walking bare foot, just wipe them off with a damp cloth and put sealer on once in a while when I see that they are a bit dry. Best pair of shoes I’ve ever bought.

Best Vellies around
These Vellies are amazing. I have had them for about 5 months and have already gone back for a second pair. I was worried about the scuff marks, but soon learnt that they add a great characteristic to the leather, and once you apply the leather cleaning cream, they are as good as new.
